Mit ihrem glänzenden Debütalbum dürfen sich FROM ASHES REBORN getrost zu den hoffnungsvollsten, neuen MELODIC DEATH METAL-Kommandos aus deutschen Landen zählen. Denn "Existence Exiled", ein echtes Feuerwerk an wirklich exzellent komponierten Melodien und bestens verzahnten, eingängigen Strukturen, vereint sämtliche, klassische Vorzüge dieses Genres mit Bravour.
Gegründet 2017, legen die Wittlicher Talente nach rekordverdächtig rascher Zeit ein fulminantes Erstwerk vor, welches in Sachen Spielkultur und Notenfluss sogar manche ältere Kapelle aus dem Metier ziemlich blass aussehen lässt.
Die sagenhaft lebendige und virtuos zelebrierte Gitarrenarbeit auf "Existence Exiled" erfüllt allerhöchste Ansprüche. Auf gleicher Höhe pariert das umwerfend wuchtige und ebenso präzise Drumming, was selbst in explosivsten Blast Beat-Ausbrüchen ein stabiler Garant für musikalische Souveränität ist.
Auch Shouter Ronni, ein echtes Monster am Mikro, wurde eindeutig dafür geboren, um seine Stimmbänder in dieser Truppe ganz weit zu dehnen - mächtige Growls aller Coleur sind sein Ding!
Aufgenommen und produziert wurde in der etablierten Klangschmiede Studio E in Kooperation mit Produzent Markus Stock. Dabei wurde den mannigfaltigen Dynamiken dieses Drehers genau der richtige und passende Sound auf den massiven Korpus gezaubert.
Tonmeister Stock, daneben bekannt durch sein seriöses Wirken in Empyrium, The Vision Bleak und Sun Of The Sleepless, spürt und weiß eben aus langer Erfahrung heraus ganz genau, was eine spezielle Band wie FROM ASHES REBORN will und braucht.
Bestens erreichtes Ziel der bewusst getroffenen Studiowahl war es, die Lieder mit einem großformatigen, organischen Gesamtklang zu veredeln, sozusagen eine ‚Stock-düstere‘ Atmosphäre zu erreichen.
Resultat ist ein ganz und gar fesselndes Album voller episch-dramatischer Volltreffer, welches seine Effizienz durch detailreiche Vehemenz und den harmonischen Hörgenuss durch erfrischende, kompositorische Klasse erzielt.
