(Time For Metal)

"… vocals are extremely similar to Jon of Dissection … some might even call it a 'Storm Of The Lights Bane Part II' … really exciting …"
(Metal Archives)
9 / 10
(Crossfire Metal)

"… scales with great forcefulness … an equally powerful battery … loaded with augmented, melancholic melodic guitars with atmospheric and acoustic pauses, without losing the brutality that is characterized."
(Darkzen Dragon)
7,5 / 10
"… fits exactly between a more varied genre position (represented by Dissection, Sacramentum, Cardinal Sin, Unanimated or Decameron) and a more aggressive, black, but still very melodic position (Noctes, Blot Mine, Dawn and especially Vinterland … very significant … you will also come across links to Lord Belial, Gates Of Ishtar and early Naglfar."
(Metalopolis)
7 / 10
"… guitars with a clear Scandinavian Melodic Black Metal influence ... epic and dramatic ... everything revolves around rhythmic exchanges, rolls leading to the classic outburst, but there are also fast and direct dynamic parts … the vicious, corrupt and unhealthy aura of the genre is clearly heard ... good example of a reference to a bygone era with an heartfelt debut and an fair homage."
(Metal IT)
7 / 10
"… fast and heavy sound … soul-wrenching screams … steady, galloping drums … great potential …"
(Metal Temple)

"… sounding huge … the drums thunder across the sonic field like a a rumbling tank whilst the snare shoots through your ears like a machine gun … really love the sharpness and clarity of the guitar tones … icy riffs … very well mixed album … adds that bit extra as well as maintaining the aggression and rawness of the songs."
(Fjordhammer)

"… full of melody, amazing riffs and all together do very good songs, and the very good songs do an amazing album."
(Blessed Altar)
"… was recommended to me by a member of The Metal Gamer community and I can’t thank her enough for it! This debut screams Dissection, hell I even had to check at times if it wasn’t them playing some unreleased tracks or something … if you love melodic Death/Black Metal then you will love this, simple as that."
(The Metal Gamer)
"… a highly-melodic work, full of the sort of genuine lead guitar work often missing from extreme Metal."
(No Clean Singing)
"Pure and hard brutality with an undeniable classic evocation … sounds very good … a lot of power."
(Abismo)
"Like a skilled Swedish craftsman, the American creates Black Metal in the best traditions of Dissection and Sacramentum … damn convincing and authentic … extremely guitar-oriented … torpedoing the listener with a lot of sharp-cutting riffs! … simply great … highly recommended."
(Wrota Krypty)
"Ripping, Dissection/Dawn worshipping Melo-Black from Texas … slightly more on the raw side than what you typically hear in modern melodic BM, which is a pleasant surprise … definitely sounds promising …"
(Metal-Fi)
"From the very first seconds, his melodic Black Metal quickly takes us into the darkness thanks to his keyboard arrangements and his melodic guitar riffs … I really like his very screaming voice which reminds me of Immortal's singer … I recommend 'The Everlorn' to fans of Mörk Gryning and Grafvitnir … very catchy."
(Metal Alliance)
"From the first track 'Where Starlight Does Not Shine' to the final 'Omega XI', it was impossible for me to detach myself from listening to the last note and with great pleasure I turned up the volume to catch every aspect … if you feel orphaned of this sound, the feeling will be to return to a place of which you felt nostalgia … a warmly recommended listening."
(The Murder Inn)
(Amboss)
"… shows the pure Black Metal art enlaced and entangled with a pure beastly beauty … once melodic, always melodic … delivers an insane cadence full of acid guitars performed as fast as it is possible … makes the fan jawbreaks … wonderful …"
