"Excellent musical input … brief solos of guitars, with a very constant tempo and very good chords … voice is gloomy but with a lot of dark emotional charge!"
(Darkzen Dragon)

"From the very first note, the hair on my neck tingles again, because you might think that Sentenced has risen again ... so whoever is a fan of the depressive rock genre, should definitely access here …"

"Twelve times a musical firework is ignited here that consists of the finest, with a big portion of fresh Rock ... at any time you can hear the unbridled joy of playing here ... RAVENFIELD understand their craft and do their job damned well."
(KOBZR)

"The songs remind me again and again of the later albums of CEMETARY from Sweden ... the voice often sounds deep and warm, but it can also sound like Rock music … the charismatic singing is definitely the strength of the band ... really great potential ..."
(Der Hörspiegel)

"… 12 very good songs … heavy and melodic, but accessible and always bearing a melancholic and sad feeling."
(Metal Temple)

"… RAVENFIELD succeeds just by confronting you with your own dark side, keeping the focus sharp … anyone who likes typical depressive Dark Rock, which works in the mind both instrumental and vocally in an almost melancholic way, should find its way into this disc and band … those who prefer to see it more light-footed will even become slightly depressed by so much dark melancholy which cuts through the heart."
(Musiczine)
"… one of our favorite albums of the year … very beautiful themes … Rock worries and melancholy … if Kurt Sutter was now returning to the 'Sons Of Anarchy', he would have passed several Ravenfield songs in his episodes … have this anarchic, traveler-like and melancholy spirit, hanging out with quite a bit of wild passion … musical level is high … great in every way … it will make the fans of the genre feel …"
(Noizy.gr)
"… pleasantly gloomy atmosphere ... goose bumps ... very imaginative guitar interludes ... varied vocals ... the Bavarians are very good at creating a pleasant, gloomy mood in their listeners ... so many interspersed virtuosic reefs testify to the great skills of the musicians, and the many variations of singing fits in very well with these soundscapes."
(Metalmamas Neuigkeiten)
"… are likely to open doors among the fans, who still mourn the late Sentenced ... the catchy Dark Rock, however, has even more facets, certain passages reminiscent of the softer songs of Metallica …"
(Orkus)
"Polo on the microphone inspires with its emotional voice, which has a great variety of sounds ... those who are on Dark Rock should get shining eyes with 'Faith And Fall' …"
(Bad Black Unicorn)

Founded in 2016, it did not take long for the hungry participants to find their very own style. One year later, RAVENFIELD published their self-titled EP.
A stable start was made, followed by the songwriting for the debut album. And so "Faith And Fall" was launched in the spring of 2019. 'Dark Rock to kill happiness', as the band itself declares about - and simply nails it.
Singer and axeman Polo, with his natural-catchy, multi-faceted voice, often reminds of the rockin' vocals of James Hetfield, what gives the band's melodic sound some striking nuances.
Inside the creative centre of the four raven-souls turns all around melancholy, love and hate. The fact that not a little hope germinates in them makes the songs to good and faithful friends, who can quickly grow to heart … (Markus Eck)
On August 12th 2019, RAVENFIELD presented their new, official music video for the song "Self Destruction".
RAVENFIELD are available for interviews via phone, Skype & e-mail
