"… aggressive and fast Thrash Metal … "Toxic End" is pure dynamite that does not stop to shoot murderous riffs and bursts of battery from the beginning to the end, serving as escort to a belligerent vocal task that puts you on guard immediately."

"… fucking riffs … truly admirably … rhythmic meaning is a full cardboard anytime … production is as raw as a tartare-steak … for much on the velocity that emerges from this burner of 11 titles for 35 minutes."

"If the world was coming to an end and Armageddon was a foregone conclusion, then THIS is the soundtrack you want playing. Raw, powerful, fast and heavy modern Thrash! I say modern, it harks back to the sound of the mid 2000’s but then compared to the origins of Thrash metal, this is modern … has everything that a modern-day Thrash album needs, lightning speed strumming, break neck drumming and the dirty vocals to go over the top."
"In all seriousness, these guys are the real deal … you’ll be hard-pressed to find as talented modern Thrashers as FreaKings, they’re solid on all fronts. Hopefully they get the attention they deserve."
(Rock And A Hard Place)
"With three albums under their belts now, FREAKINGS has saved the best for last and there is no reason whatsoever that this powerful trio should not have a proper record labeling supporting them … these three tear it all down something fierce with their smashing riffs and (seriously-sick!) licks … make me want to slam about …"
(Heavy Metal Time Machine)
"… sound really like demons, precise, surgical, powerful … damn good … an album that will grow in intensity parallel to the quantity of beers in the body … above all, these album brings fun."
(Loud And Proud.it)
"… furious, but extremely traditional Thrash Metal … almost every track is extremely passionate, energetic …"
"… an overwhelming and breathtaking trip. It’s almost 40 minutes of musical devastation that will leave the weak breathless. An album of utmost quality, to be listened over and over again, always in high volume!"
(Metal Em Portugal)
"… mature enough to maintain beautiful memories of earlier days when the genre was in dynamic climax … a good, lively work …"
(Flight Of Pegasus)
"'Toxic End' makes it very easy to find real pleasure in its storm … there is something particular about Old School Thrash which never relinquishes its potency and FREAKINGS exploits it to the full."
(The RingMaster Review)
"… such a pleasant trip to the old days. FREAKINGS bring us the next batch of Classic Thrash Metal … a great experience … lifts the lid of the coffin!"
"Those guys are blood and bone thrashers, they are 100 % dedicated to it. I can capture that vibe through their music and it`s all what it takes to make my day. I am sure they give you satisfaction once you have heard 'Toxic End' as they have their music top notch."
"Anger! A lot of anger! Listening to FREAKINGS’ “Toxic End” made me wonder how it would to be behind a sonorous machine gun. FREAKINGS are a hardcore Thrash band. Old school to the bone!"
"Seriously, 'Toxic End' is pure fire, pure passion … riffs that take all the possible of the old Thrash of the Bay Area …"
"… a lot of fans may find their 'Toxic End' listening to this sincere slab of old school aggression which emphasizes on the Slayer blitzkrieg approach even more. The guys lash with power seldom pausing for a break, raging onward with more or less overt shades of hardcore ('Violent Disaster') as well. All the twelve tracks here are prime headbangers that will make you mosh around in oblivion for over half an hour."
(The Thrash Metal Guide)
"It is simply chalk full of material that is fun, aggression with high ranks in entertainment … lots of fast paced energy, edgy adrenaline, lots of screams with fast instrumentals that keeps your head bobbing back and forth …"
"… a superb album of breath taking Speed/Thrash Metal that is both ferocious and furious and will be a strong contender for Album of the Year 2017."
"… a very good touch of Teutonic plus some Slayeric taste … fast and aggressive riffing … killer solo parts … make me restless … this album is really meant for the headbanging maniac …"
"… sounds a lot like the various pillars of European Thrash Metal like Sodom or Kreator, and even Tankard when they speed up the velocity … in turn FREAKINGS are very much their own … the aggressive, low-pitched voice of vocalist / guitarist Jonathan Brutschin reigns supreme …"
"… a fantastic work, with some riffs worthy of the best Slayer … Thrash metal of the excellent kind, with its bases firmly rooted in the 80s … the band is very professional in their instruments, executing their music in a safe and powerful way … check this band … Freakings deserves recognition …"
"The used riffs are the most important facet on this album and I’m confident it’s created to headbang! The uncontrolled rhythms, neck breaking riffs, unpolished production and the splendid use of backing vocals are sublime on this release … recommend this one for fans of Annihilator, Gama Bomb and Tankard, but also any other Thrash fan will enjoy …"

Rise Of Violence
Sept 27, 2019
For some years now, these Swiss have been known as convinced and, above all, fully capable thoroughbred idealists.
The THRASH METAL threesome with frontman Jonathan Brutschin have been completely confirmed again for their 2016 predecessor album "Toxic End" with a variety of fully enthusiastic to freaky reactions.
Also on stage, this could be solidified in addition massively - who was ever in the gigs of the Helvetic maniacs, knows about their powerful sweatdriver factor.

Now the musical terror continues ... FREAKINGS do themselves a great honor and present the new songs with the 4th album "Rise Of Violence" as a compositional sniper combo, which has been playculturally armed to the teeth.
The trio in the frenetic adrenaline rush rattles whipping songs into the earpiece with the utmost accuracy, so that it just breaks.
All three members reveal themselves motivated to the last fibers of their earthly hulls. Blessed with a wonderfully dynamic wealth of ideas, selectively martial-centered, and at the same time structurally clever - just 100 % song-useful.

With whole thunderstorm discharges of hellishly peppered precision riffs, an insanely varied tornado drumming of the highest warning level and brutishly charismatic shouting of the sovereign class, the new material of the top trained Swiss goes in like liquid butter!!
Everything is perfectly synchronized on "Rise Of Violence", even in the highest speeds, also the snotty gangshouts could not have been better placed. FREAKINGS set their own signs to storm! The response to the immensely punchy material of the consistent enthusiasts will this time be even more positive with a guarantee.
The frenzied racing trio gives the old and new school of the genre a damn juicy, unforgettable lesson with "Rise Of Violence"! (Markus Eck)
